Tilde only stores what it needs to work: your account and what you add to the app. It isn't sold, shared or used for ads.
What's stored
From your Google account: your name, email address and profile picture, to show which account you're signed in with. Tilde never gets your password and can't read your email, Drive or Google Calendar.
What you add to the app: courses, schedule, to-dos, dates, grades, study sessions and settings.
For notes, only the link and name are stored: the files stay where they were. For a linked calendar, its address is stored so it can be downloaded again when you import its dates.
Where it's stored
On Supabase (database and sign-in), on servers in the United States. The app is served by Vercel. Connections are always encrypted.
Every piece of data is tied to its account: the database only lets that same account read or change it.
How it's used
Only to make the app work. It isn't sold, shared with third parties or used for ads. The database is only looked at by hand to fix a technical problem.
On your device
So the app opens offline, your browser keeps a copy of your data and screens, plus changes made offline until they're uploaded. It also remembers your language, theme and color. Signing out removes what was saved for your account.
The only cookies are the session ones and the language one. There are no third-party, advertising or analytics cookies.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete account instantly deletes your account and everything in it. Database backups may keep it for a few more days, until they're replaced.
You can also remove Tilde's access from your Google account settings.
